Golden Anvil

The other day I picked up Castle Crashers for MrsKheldar and I to play on the XBox together. Yes, I know I just bought a bunch of games recently because of Steam. However... it turns out that when we find a game that my wife wants to play with me, all my resistance to spending money just goes straight out the window!

Anyway, so we played a little last night and tonight. It's a pretty fun game. Essentially each person controls on little character, and you run around on the screen and beat up the bad guys with a variety of different attacks. As you beat up things you gain experience, which helps you level up. As you level up, you get points which you can put into different stats which help you do more damage, or gain magic abilities, or other things. You can actually play up to four people together at the same time, all on one screen. I'm looking forward to getting some friends over so we can try that out. The art style is pretty cute, and music is fun.

All in all, it's a pretty entertaining game. Hopefully we'll keep playing it together for some time.
