Well, last weekend I spent a lot of time playing different games. I think mostly that was because it was nice to have a weekend without any obligations. Well, this weekend I think it's time to get back to some of my normal tasks. Mind you, I'm still sure I'll play at little. In fact, I ordered Gears of War II for the XBox 360 because there was a great sale on it (and I was intending on eventually buying it anyway), and it's likely to arrive this weekend. I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold out for long against the lure of playing that. And Angela and I would like to play another game of Arkham Horror this weekend. And some Castle Crashers. And I'll have to put some more time in on TrackMania. And I'd like to play some more Titan Quest with Dad. Oh yes, and we'll be playing Guild Wars on Saturday.
Err... So much for not doing much game playing this weekend...
Well, anyway... I'd like to put some work in on the website this weekend. Probably do some tweaks to the new Blog Mailer module, maybe see if I can figure out the IE offset links problem and the smileys not showing up problem. If I have time, I'd like to replace the current editor with one that works more to my liking. That all could take up as much time as I give it, particularly if I get distracted with other features and ideas.
I also need to do a little thinking about various roleplaying games. I need to read through the Og rules again for our game on Monday. I also need to start doing a little planning for our Firefly game. Then I'd like to start figuring out exactly how I'd go about running a forum-based game here on the website and what it would be a game about.
Oh yes, I also want to get some reading time in. I'll definitely be able to finish the Longtusk book I'm on now, and at least get started on the last book in the mammoth series, Icebones. Expect reviews on those.
Yep, looks like it's going to be a busy weekend...
