What I did this weekend

Well, Friday I blogged about what I was planning to do this weekend, so it's only appropriate that today I take a look at what I actually did this weekend.

Let's see, the first thing on Friday's list was gaming. Gears of War II did arrive on Saturday, but so far I haven't played it. I might play a little this evening still, but then again, I just might pass and do something else instead. Angela and I just finished up a game of Arkham Horror. We lost, but it was oh so close. I think I'll let her tell you more about the game, perhaps she'll even include a picture too to give you an idea of what the game looks like during play. We haven't played Castle Crashers yet. We probably won't get around to it. That's because the Arkham Horror game lasted longer than expected. I did play some TrackMania. I did some online racing, and started working on my ladder points, which are what you earn for racing online. I still have a long way to go there before I have a reasonable ranking in that area. I didn't get around to playing Titan Quest with Dad (maybe it's not too late?), but I did get to play Guild Wars on Saturday evening.

So, gaming was pretty successful.

I got the tweaks put in on the Blog Mailer tool for the website. Of course, now I've got another task on it, but I should be able to take care of that sometime in the next week. I put in some tweaks on the editor, which seems to be working a little better than it used to. The spell checker even works now. I didn't clear up the IE link problem, but I do have some ideas about it, and I may be able to resolve the issue next time I get around to looking at it. Smileys remain unchanged, and I have no idea why they are not behaving sometimes. I'll have to do more research on that.

So, website work I'm actually reasonably pleased on.

Roleplaying-wise, I haven't yet read the Og rules, but that's planned for this evening. I didn't do any real thinking about plans. That seems like a failure, but actually, the Og stuff was the only thing that really couldn't be put off, so that's ok.

For reading, I finished Longtusk, and I'm into Icebones, and I'll likely do some more reading this evening. Interesting book so far.

So, all in all, it was a fairly good weekend.
