Free Games on Amazon

Amazon is offering 4 free games (I'm assuming to try and promote their new digital distribution system). Three of the games are here, and the fourth is here. This offer lasts until the Feb 10th. All you have to do is "purchase" each of the games. It will collect your credit card info, apparently to verify US residency. After purchase, you'll have a link to download the game, which will automatically prompt you to install their downloader utility. The utility will need to be running the first time you play the game in order to register it, but after that you can shut it down.

The Scruffs is a scavenger hunt type game. Think "Where's Waldo". It's actually a lot of fun to play with someone. MrsKheldar and I were enjoying it. It has some other mini-games mixed in that are fun. Definitely worth grabbing.

Jewel Quest II is a "match 3" type game with a slight twist where you are trying to get matches to cover each of the background squares. It's an interesting mechanic, and works pretty well. MrsKheldar likes it a lot, but I haven't had a chance to play it.

Big Kahuna Reef looks similar to Jewel Quest II, but I haven't tried it out. Probably worth grabbing for a change of scenery compared to Jewel Quest II.

I don't know much about Build-a-lot, but some forum feedback I saw indicated that it's actually a reasonably interesting city-builder type of game.

So, for free, they're all worth grabbing, even if you don't play them right away.
