In an effort to get my office/game room back in shape, I'm cleaning out a bunch of stuff. I found a stack of old games that I know I'm never going to play again. So, I figured I give everyone here a first crack at this stuff before I find some other place to dispose of it. It's all older, and I can't vouch for how well it'll run on newer systems. Still, with a little effort, you can usually get these things running (although that tends to be easier the older your operating system is). Let me know if you see something you want. I'll probably make you pay shipping costs, but other than that they're yours for free. I'm pretty sure I can find manuals for most of these, but most of them no longer have the original box.
Re: Cleaning out my stuff (free games)
CIV III and Shogun sound interesting to me. Are they worth the effort? Maybe you could bring them Easter?
Re: Cleaning out my stuff (free games)
Both of those are good games. Many think Civ IV was better than Civ III, but III is still a good game. Likewise, Shogun was the first of the Total War series, so later games have definitely improved. Still, it's a fun game with some really nice mechanics. I'll bring them with me.
...and it looks like I've got manuals for both of those.
Re: Cleaning out my stuff (free games)
I'd be really interested in the Elder Scrolls and associated updates. Have loved Oblivion, would be nice to understand some of the back story. Honestly don't have much time to play games though...still have NWN2 that I purchased and never played...

Re: Cleaning out my stuff (free games)
Yeah, I seemed to have acquired a decent sized gaming backlog too. Slowly working through it. We're going to be driving through Boise here in another week (and again a bit under a week after that). If you're interested in the Morrowind stuff, perhaps we could drop it by on our way through to save you shipping costs. You interested? You still live in the same house?
Re: Cleaning out my stuff (free games)
Yup same house! Same job (happy to have a job) extra responsibilities though
Biggest change in my life is living as a bachelor during the school year
But Mrs Ald will be home in 6 weeks or so and then it's just 2 more years!
