I made some real good progress on memTrainer today. I've got the main interface essentially completed, with a summary screen that shows statistics and other details about the current opened box of flash cards. I've also completed the interface that allows you to add new cards:

As you can see from the screenshots, I added about 40 cards in the process of testing things, and I like how it's turning out. Adding cards is relatively painless, and with the exception of needing to cut and paste Greek characters with multiple accent marks from another application (they're currently displayed incorrectly due to a bug in the Qt library I use) everything seems to be operating smoothly.
At this point, I still need to add the screen that allows you to take a quiz on the bucket of your choice. I also need screen where you can edit existing cards, and it'd be nice to be able to export and import cards without all the other statistical data. I think I should be able to finish up enough of that stuff tomorrow to at least be able to start using if for actual study purposes.
I'm pleased that I got a lot done today, but unfortunately it happened partially because I woke up around 2:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Finally, at 3:00, I just gave in and came down to get to work. I guess my body doesn't know how to operate when it's not sleep deprived. To make things more exciting, Mrs. Kheldar has some kind of runny nose/sore throat thing going on, and I'm starting to feel minor versions of those symptoms. Time to chug the orange juice and hope I can get a reasonable amount of sleep tonight.
