Passover celebration

As is our yearly tradition, we celebrated Passover yesterday (yes, I know, it wasn't the right date, but it's ok, because we're not Jewish either). We invited over our pastor and his wife, and another couple. Both couples are around a half to a full generation older than us, and there weren't any children. This created a somewhat interesting situation. As you know if you've celebrated Passover before, there are certain ways that the kids get to participate throughout the evening. Fortunately, our guests ended up being some of the most entertaining and enthusiastic "kids" we've ever had over for Passover! Smile Among other things, they insisted on reciting one portion after the meal to tune of the "Twelve Days of Christmas".

Anyway, it was fun, the company was good, the food was outstanding, and (as every year) it was a great experience to take the time out to praise God and stop to recognize the ways He has not only worked in the lives of believers before me, but in my own life as well.

We did have to start late, so I was up waaay past my bed time. Lack of sleep made today kind of a long day, so I think I'm off to bed early.
