There we go. A simple problem of the system timezone not being properly configured. It was set to UTC time instead of a specific timezone. Everything is good now.
Well, except for the fact that the forum seems to be displaying everything in Central time instead of Mountain time...
Ah ha! My personal profile was mistakenly set to Central time. If your clock is not displaying correctly, try going to your profile and setting your time zone correctly.
