Anyone else having problems with the forums keeping you logged in? I think it's because my domain name briefly lapsed. I'm hoping the problem goes away within another day.
Ok, all fixed now. Turns out that when my domain name briefly lapsed it reset my sub-domains to be non-virtual. That meant that it was just redirecting to the IP address, but the forum was set up to use the name not the IP as it's base address.
Ah ha! I think I got it. For some reason, some of the DNS settings got changed. The tricky part was finding which ones were changed. DNS propagation meant that I had to make a tweak or two and wait a day or two to see if it fixed anything.
Seems to be ok now though. If it's not fixed yet, wait a day or two longer.
I log in. It returns me to the main page, but still in the "guest" mode. It'll say that Sareth is logged in down on the whose here section, but it still shows I need to log in up top. The second attempt to log in puts everything to logged in mode, but there won't be any new posts since my last visit, which is shown as having occured just seconds before.
auto-login not working
funny... I was WONDERING why I just had to log in again...
could have been coincidence though.

Well, I don't see anything odd in your configuration settings. Try deleting your cookies. See if that helps. :?:
