Sareth has been back in the states for about 1 hr. Sareth is writing from JFK airport at this moment. Sareth expects to be home in approx. 1 week. Sareth would like a week with his family, then Sareth would love to start back up. Sareth will now stop talking about himself in the third person.
Will the GM be ready to resume Jannot and Whellan's journey to Zuqar to find what they missed the first time?
Also, I hope you can find/post the last two sessions of play as well. I recall walking into a town and getting hand-out clothes from a church... something about getting some fishing gear after selling some orc memorabilia...
Whether or not we're ready to resume may depend on technical issues. I'm not sure whether or not we currently have a play solution. I think we were using my IRC server last...
Is there any chance I could convince you to try ICQ again? I have an updated MAC and a functioning PC that it could work on.
Because, frankly, it was great to be able to see each other typing real-time. When it was working it really felt like we were sitting around the table roleplaying. I miss that.
I got that piece of software, but never really had a chance to try it out. We're going to have to have a session or two to make sure things are ironed out before we start full blown sessions regardless.
Just to keep you updated, I've been delayed on my return. I go to greater length about it on my blog, if you're curious. Suffice it to say it'll be minimum one more week before I'm home.
I'll be home tomorrow (the 29th) in the afternoon.
The doc took a look at x-rays of my back, decided that I should try physical therapy for my back before they do anything drastic. So I am instructed to go home, get together with the VA, and get a Therapist. This is good. I really did not want to get my back carved on.
Well, been back a few days... I need to review the lgs from all the sessions and get back into things. Are they current? I know there were a few that hadn't been posted yet last I checked. I'll let you know when I'm up to snuff.
However, as witnessed by the fact that it's 10:00pm and I'm posting this from work... I've been a little busy lately. We're technically still in the middle of crunch time.
I don't expect to get to the logs any sooner than the middle of next week.
Sareth, I can't recall. Did you end up purchasing the Fantasy Grounds software?
I won't suggest that James purchase until (unless) we can run a test with him on the demo software. Not sure with his connection how well things would work.
We'll likely go IRC. ICQ seemed to be a no-go last time we tried due to technical issues between the windows and mac clients.
Sareth should be able to handle Fantasy grounds just excellently on his Macbookpro (the XP side).
I would suggest he purchase, it's cheap.
I would like to work w/ it again too...I loved the software, the possibilities have not been exploited yet, though

Well, unless he plans on using it with someone other than me, he'd better at least hold off on purchasing it until I'm sure I actually have time to run a campaign.
Still, I agree with you. The price is good, the potential is awesome. Neat software.
When will we pick back up?
