Merry Christmas to y'all too! We've had a quiet, but good day. Karen and I spent some time working in The GIMP on some pictures she wanted to edit for a project. It was fun and I think she learned a lot. We also spent a little time with Hameed and Adviga on the webcam, and also with Jill and family on the webcam. Nice to get to visit like that. Anyhow, it's been a good day - a most unusual Christmas with no tree or Christmas decorations - but a good day. No Christmas turkey or ham, but a pretty good beef roast with mashed potatoes, gravy, candied yams and Waldorf salad. So, a fine day overall!
Yes, we've had a wonderful day, as well. Very low key and relaxed. We only opened gifts from our immediate family today. Lee got his first piece of software and is enamored with it! I got Hameed the Guildwars expansion and Railroad Tycoon. Hameed got me Calendar Creator. So at least part of the day was spent on our respective computers! There were a few other gifts as well. We had a wonderful dinner of lamb, rice, gravy, cranberries, broccoli, and birthday cake for Jesus. It took me all of 30 minutes to get it on the table! :) We enjoyed being in touch with a few of our other family members. We are looking forward to Hameed being off of work for the next week and opening the rest of our presents during that time.
Thought about all of you and prayed for joy for your Christmas as well!
Sorry Kheldar and I missed everyone on webcam yesterday. We had some friends over for lunch (our menu consisted of pork chops, roasted broccoli, green salad, mashed potatoes & gravy, apple cake, and vanilla ice cream) and then they stayed well into the evening to play a game with us. It was a very pleasant day.
