Golden Anvil

MrsKheldar and I watched Despicable Me this last weekend. It's a computer animated movie about a Super Villain who plans to steal the moon. He sort of ends up adopting three little girls, and fun ensues. (None of that's really all that spoilery.)

I thought the movie was cute and entertaining, but probably not something I'd bother seeing again. There were a few good lines and a couple brilliant moments, but I thought that too much of it was a little too predictable and not as funny as it was trying to be. Still, different people find different things funny, so your mileage might vary. I think some of my favorite parts of the movie involved the little minions, who are strange little... well... just strange a little. They were definitely an entertaining part of the movie.

Don't expect much depth on this movie. Watch it if you feel like something light-hearted.
